A motivators certification is a one-day course in which you learn to recognise, interpret and develop people’s underlying motivations. Whilst DISC shows how someone acts, motivators reveal what drives them – the layer beneath visible behaviour. After all, development discussions are rarely solely about behaviour. Someone may be performing well yet still feel out of place. Motivators make it possible to discuss what is going on beneath the surface: what someone needs to stay motivated and where the tension lies between work and personal motivation.
The certification is intended for professionals such as coaches, trainers, HR advisers and managers who wish to address motivation and engagement in their coaching and mentoring.
The Motivators certification is a one-day course with two hours of preparation, during which you will learn to understand the motivation model and apply it professionally. You will gain insight into the structure of motivation profiles, learn to recognise and interpret the six motivators, and discover how to link these to DISC profiles.
It’s not just about theory. You’ll actively practise reading and interpreting profiles and conducting in-depth discussions. There’s scope to use your own case studies, so you can apply what you’ve learnt to your own professional practice. By the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to use motivators professionally in coaching, training, development discussions and counselling.

A motivators certification combines effectively with knowledge of DISC. If you don’t yet have that foundation, or would like to refresh your basics first, then follow the basic DISC certification or the combined certification first.
Completed the DISC certification training. The training was done in a small group, which allows for a tailored approach. An inventory was made of the participants' needs, and these were more than met.
